Worship
Weekend Schedule
Sundays: 10:00am Welcome
We are glad you are here. We gather in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit – One God in three persons. You are invited to worship the One True God. At Legacy we do not take this invitation lightly or flippantly but with prayer, reverence and joy. It is a blessing and an honor to be a part of a community that freely worships a Holy God. We invite you to join the worship with loud voice, attentive minds and open hearts to receive abundantly from God. Questions and Baptism
If you have any questions concerning the worship, are interested in joining Legacy Church or desire to be baptized (and you have not already been baptized) please do not hesitate to contact Fr. Doug. He would love to spend time with you and/or your family. He can be reached at 334-538-2390 or [email protected] Word and Sacrament
Worship is both Word and Sacrament. We proclaim God’s Word through the reading of scripture and in the preaching. We respond to His Word in prayer and song. We are then invited to come toward the Lord’s Table to receive Holy Communion (the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper). All baptized persons are welcome to receive Holy Communion. We receive the bread from the priest and the wine from one of the two chalice bearers. Children who have been baptized are welcome to receive. Prayer Stations
During Holy Communion there is a prayer station in the rear of the room where you can pray with the team intentionally and personally. |
